Climate Change and Environmental Displacement
Special Issue: January 2025
The Journal of Internal Displacement is calling for papers to be published as a Special Issue in January 2025. Papers must be submitted no later than 15 October 2024.
Topics could include (but are not limited to):
- Theoretical and conceptual analysis
- Data and statistical analysis
- Research and methodological design
- Law and policy on migration, displacement, and asylum
- Advocacy and resistance
- Storytelling and lived experience
- Impact, influence and outcome
- Challenge, opportunity, implementation with intervention programs
- Emergency response and disaster management
About the Journal: The Journal of Internal Displacement (JID) is the only scholarly and interdisciplinary platform for raising the profile of displaced populations through discussions, critical dialogue, emerging themes, reflections and explorations on a wide range of topics and geographical regions. The JID promotes free and open access. The JID charges no publication fees to authors.
Submission Guidelines:
- Manuscripts must be submitted no later than 15 October 2024.
- Manuscripts must have a maximum of 30 pages (i.e., ~15,000 words including references), single space, Times New Roman, 12-point font size with 150-words abstract and 5 keywords.
- All manuscripts must follow the Journal of Internal Displacement submission guidelines available here.
